Taking this in consideration, apples contain a mix of essential elements which are beneficial for our body and our overall health. Most of the nutritive matters are found in the peel. Many people throw it away. Instead of getting rid of it you can use it in several ways:
Make jelly or crisps Apples are full of anti-oxidants, particularly in their peel. Half of the C vitamin is located there. Your daily dose of anti-oxidants can be met by consuming jelly or crisps made from apple peels for breakfast. All you need to do is sprinkle a little water, cinnamon and sugar over the apple peels. Make tea This way you will have the most benefit of the anti-oxidants. All you need are apple peels, 3 to 4 cups of water, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. In a metal container put all the ingredients together, but leave out the honey and boil them for 15 minutes. Strain the concoction; add the honey and your healthy drink will be ready.

Peel few apples and put the peels in the container you wish to clean and add a little water. Let them boil for 20 to 30 minutes. The apple’s malic acid will clean the container thoroughly and help in restoring its shine.
At the end take out the peels and wash the container as you usually do.
