For this recipe, you will need a pair of gloves, to avoid direct contact with the hot peppers. If you are suffering from sinus clogging, the intense smell can activate the sinuses, so be careful.
- 2 tbsp. turmeric powder or 2 pieces turmeric root
- 700 ml. apple cider vinegar (organic)
- ¼ finely chopped garlic
- ¼ finely chopped onion
- 2 fresh hot chili peppers (the hotter, the better)
- ¼ grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons grated horseradish
Combine all ingredients together except for the ACV and place them in a jar. Next, pour the ACV over the mix, seal jar well and store in a dark and cold place for two weeks.
Shake the mix a few times a day during the two-week period. When two weeks pass, strain liquid and keep the bits and pieces for salads and other food combinations.
